DSL Modem Options A DSL modem is required to connect your computer to the DSL phone line. You can either rent a modem, or purchase the modem. You can choose from either a basic DSL modem for 1 computer, or an Advanced DSL modem with a built-in 4-port Ethernet switch and wireless access point. Both modems include a security firewall system.
